General Interface

This section explains the main controls and navigation elements of the website.

• Dark/Light Mode: Click this icon in the top-right corner to switch the color theme. Your preference is saved in your browser for your next visit.
• Buy Me a Coffee: This is a link to a donation page. This tool is free to use, and any support helps cover server costs (€100/month). A monthly donation of just €3 would be incredibly helpful!
• Information: Click this button to open the guide you are currently reading.

Main Function Tabs

The main functionality is divided into four tabs. Here is a detailed explanation of each.

Flights Tab

This is the primary view for browsing all individual flights found by the system. Data is updated every 15 minutes.

• Filters: Use the dropdown menus to select one or more departure airports, destination airports, or dates. The table will update automatically.
• Quick Filters: Use the From Germany and To Germany buttons as shortcuts to select all German airports.
• Save Filter: Save your current filter settings as a preset. Your saved filters will appear at the top of the page for quick access.
• Show flights under 30€: Activate this toggle to include very cheap flights (must be booked directly via Wizz Air website, not covered by AYCF pass).
• Show Ryanair flights under 20€: Activate this toggle to include cheap Ryanair flights (note: Ryanair has no privilege pass like Wizz AYCF).
• Refresh data: Click “Refresh data” to manually reload the flight data.
• Pinning Flights: Click the thumbtack icon to 'pin' a flight. Pinned flights are saved to your browser and will always appear at the top of the table.

Community Tips Tab

Share and discover flight deals found by other users.

• Browse Tips: See the latest flight discoveries shared by the community.
• Vote: Upvote helpful tips to help others find the best deals.
• Filter: Filter tips by departure airport to find relevant deals for you.

Roundtrips Tab

Search for complete roundtrip journeys with flexible options.

• Trip Types: Standard (A→B→A) or Germany-to-Germany (start and end in Germany, visit another country).
• Stops: Search for direct roundtrips or include 1-2 layovers.
• Stay/Layover: Define minimum/maximum stay duration in hours or layover times for connecting flights.
• Save Roundtrip Filter: Save your roundtrip search settings as a preset.

Route Search Tab

Discover complex routes and connections between airports.

• Find Specific Route: Check if a connection exists between two airports (e.g., Hamburg to Faro with up to 2 stops).
• Find All Connecting Routes: Travel inspiration mode - see all possible destinations from your starting airport with 1-2 stops.
• Save Route Filter: Save your route search settings as a preset.

E-mail Notification Tab

Set up automatic email alerts when flights become available. The system checks every 15 minutes.

• Direct Flights: Monitor specific dates for direct flights. You'll be notified instantly when a flight appears.
• One-Stop: Monitor flights with one connection. Set minimum/maximum layover times.
• Roundtrip: Monitor roundtrip availability. The system checks both directions and notifies you when both flights are available.
  Includes Explorer Mode: Leave destination empty to get alerts for ANY destination from your origin.
• Recurring: Monitor specific weekdays (e.g., "every Friday"). Supports One-Way, Roundtrip, and One-Way with Stop.
  Includes Explorer Mode: Get alerts for any destination on your chosen days.
• Manage Notifications: Click "Manage all your notifications here" or visit /manage.html to view, delete, or reactivate completed alerts.
• Completed Alerts: When a flight is found, the alert is marked as "COMPLETED". You can reactivate it to continue monitoring (with or without excluding the found flight).

History Tab

Analyze historical flight availability to plan your bookings better.

• Availability Stats: See when flights typically become available (time of day) and how long before departure.
• Best Weekday: Check which weekdays have the best availability lead times.
• Duration Analysis: Understand how long flight seats typically stay available before being booked.
